Pull up on handle to engage locks, then twist to lock position.  

To unlock, move to unlock position and open.

To test if locked, pull up if no locks engage it is already locked.

BURNERS

Turn ON, push in and turn to HIGH, clicking until ignition.

Operate between LOW and HIGH, never HIGH and OFF.

Turn OFF, flame may linger for several seconds.

OVEN

Turn ON, push in and turn to temperature - 150oF to 500oF.

Allow 20-30 minutes to pre-heat, use timer on countertop & oven temperature gauge  

Then, if desired, turn on oven convection fan.

Gas oven does take longer to cool.

Part of the charm of our cabin is our no tech manual gas stove!

Operating the HUUM sauna relies on using the control panel right outside of the sauna door.

• Turn On / Start Heating: Press the dial once to wake up the screen. Press it a second time to start heating. Wavy lines will appear on the display, indicating the heater is active. It takes 45 to 60 minutes to heat up fully.
• Turn On Lights: Double Tap, light icon will come on in bottom right corner.
• Adjust Temperature: Turn the dial clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the target temperature. The target temperature appears in the top right corner, while the current temperature is in the center. 
• Stop Heating: Press the dial once while the sauna is heating to shut it off.
• Set a Delay Timer: Press and hold the dial for 3 seconds. Turn the dial to choose how many hours/minutes in the future you want the sauna to turn on, then click once to activate.

Before entering sauna, fill bucket with cold water and pull over rocks once heated to create steam while in the sauna.

 Using the Control Panel

• Set temperature (Left Side): Press the up or down arrows on the push-button panel to choose your target water temperature show on the digital screen.
• Turn on jets (Right Side): Press each pump button to toggle the jet speeds on or off, there are 2 pump buttons that control each side.
• Adjust water flow: Turn the Calm diverter valves to direct massage pressure to specific seats or make the water feel softer.
• Manage lights (Middle Light Bulb): Press the light bulb button to turn on the LED lights and cycle through colors or patterns.

The Hot Tub Spa has weekly cleanings and new water is refilled at least once a month to ensure for the best hot tub experience during your stay.  Please call us if you need anything.

Each gas fireplace works different. 

For the Porch Gas Fireplace, turn on the fireplace switch to the right of the fireplace.  You will hear clicking until it lights.  If not turned on in awhile it could take up to 60-120 seconds to light as gas travels to the burner.

For the Living Room Gas Fireplace, use the black remote on coffee table with the temperature showing.  Press the On and light button at the same time.  Then once the flame is lit, you can increase or decrease the flame.

Use the remote on the outdoor porch coffee table to turn on and off, and dim the lights.

Dim the lights for a cozy glow while on the porch or at the firepit, or brighten them for a late dinner on the deck or to see while grilling a late night snack.

Nest thermostats don’t have a touch screen. Use the side touch bar on the right side to control thermostat. Swipe up to make it warmer, swipe down to make it cooler, and tap to confirm.  Please do not operate the temperate below 64 and above 78 to ensure the interior wood is protected at all times.

The screen shows you how many minutes until it reaches the temperature you want.

• Tap the touch bar to bring up the menu.
• Swipe up or down to select an option.
• Tap the touch bar again to confirm your selection.

Turn on your Bluetooth on phone or device and turn on the radio then connect to TB-RETS2 

If you phone or device is not showing TB-RETS2 as an option, turn off your Bluetooth and turn it back ensuring the radio is on and close to your phone or device.

Turn the TV inputs to HDMI 2, turn on the DVD player and put in DVD.  

Use the DVD remote inside the cabinet to controll play, stop, & volume while watching DVDs.

Before departing Camp Shady Pines: 

• Take all belongings, toiletries, & chargers
• Remove all food and drinks from kitchen
• Wash dishes or start the dishwasher 
• Return furniture & items to their original places 
• Place used towels in the laundry room 
• If you brought a pet, remove any visible pet hair 
• Take all trash (including bathroom trash) to the trash closet on the porch 
• Turn off lights, lock all doors, and let us know about any damage or low supplies
